What About Ceiling Height
Pennsylvania building code requires a minimum ceiling height of 7 feet in habitable basement rooms. Existing ductwork, beams, and plumbing can reduce available height. We measure carefully and plan around these obstacles to maximize headroom where it matters most.
How Will You Handle HVAC
A finished basement needs heating and cooling. If your existing HVAC system has capacity, extending ductwork may be sufficient. If not, a mini split system is an efficient alternative that does not require ductwork. We evaluate your current system and recommend the best approach for your home.
